License Suspension What are the ohio license suspension rules?
I recently got a minor misdemeanor, for minor possession of a controlled substance. In court i got a fine and a 180 day suspension of drivers license. This happened in Butler County. I attend Miami University and am originally from New York. The judge said 180 days suspension in ohio but they did take my license so im wondering if anyone knows if i have driving privileges in NY and if i do get my card back.
You are suspended. Since they took your license, it is likely that your information has also been added to the DMV website that all States have access to.

Texas Dui Lawyer Would I have a good chance of getting sole custody of my child if mother was recently found guilty of DUI?
I haven’t contacted a lawyer yet, but was wondering if anyone else had similar circumstance. We reside in Texas. I have clear record and nothing questionable on my end. She has had full custody since birth, and I see twice a week with every third weekend.
A change in physical custody depends on so many other factors beyond a DUI that it is not possible to give you a proper answer in this forum. It is really the totality of the facts and circumstances and how they relate to the best interests of the child. If what you state is all there is, then the mother would probably retain custody unless the child was in the vehicle when she was driving drunk. That is the kind of factual basis that could result in a change of custody.

Dui First Offense what will happen at court for a first offense dui conviction with bac of .2+ in Mississippi?
ticket was for careless operation of vehicle, he was drinking and driving and swerving on I 59 in Picayune, Pearl River County. Court date is in May, he has time served, has been in AA since the offense in October, and ACER classes as well. Just wondering what could happen to him. Oh, age 34.
If dui is all he’s charged with, he would have to pay a fine of $1,000 or more, a court cost (I’m in NC–it’s $120), may have to pay a fine for his cost in incarceration (nominal), and he will get 12 points on his license (or whatever the max is in Miss.), and his driving privilege will be suspended for a year. The ACER and AA will make no difference. Judges have a strict formula they must follow, and can’t deviate from the formula just because someone did ACER or especially AA.
You just got your California dui first offense, what’s next
YES.
