I was charged with a first offense DWI and careless operation in 2009. Finally, the case was dismissed this week. Besides my insurance company, who else do I need to provide with the certified court letter saying that there was no conviction of these charges?

I have a law question.?
Ok so my step-dad is a truck driver. He and his buddy were out in California at a truck stop. Long story short, they got drunk, the friend decided he wanted to drive. My step-dad was in the passenger seat and had to reach for the steering wheel to save the truck 2 times. They got to another truck stop and my step-dad asked someone to help him take away the keys. That other someone called the cops. Cops came; step-dad was out of the truck with the keys. Cops took both to jail, step dad got charger w/public intoxication, friend charged w/DWI. Well now friends lawyer wants my step dad to testify in court the HE was the one driving. Lawyer says the court can’t turn around and charge him with the DWI. Please someone help us out because he has to go to court the end of this month. Thanks for any help and advice.
Ok what is the “friend” just never goes back to California? And does my dad have to be served with subpoena papers?
That would be stupid.
If stepdad did that, then the next thing the prosecutor would do is find that “someone” that witnessed everything. That “someone” will testify that the other guy was driving. Then, your stepdad will be charged with perjury, which is a felony in California.
This would be the extreme scenario, but nonetheless your stepdad would be a fool to agree to lawyer’s plan. In fact, the lawyer is voilating ethics rules by even suggesting this. I would personally report this guy to the bar association.

Second DUI in 3 months in Pennsylvania, is arrest coming?
My Ex has gotten two DUI’s in the past 3 months, and has a court date on 2/2/11. She was never arrested, just taken to the hospital for blood work. The list of charges are:

2 75 § 3802 §§ B* M DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
3 75 § 3714 §§ A S CARELESS DRIVING

I know the A refers to general Impairment(.08-.99), and the B stands for High rate of alcohol(.100-.159). She was never arrested as I said, but I would like to know if she will be when she heads to court?
Reason being is we have a son together, and she is doing everything possible to keep him from me. Any leverage I can find before my lawyer and I head to court would only help calm my fears that she will keep him.
