Drunk Driving Penalties
What’s the fine/penalty for drinking & driving in Karnataka?
Failed the breath analyzer. Cops took my license and PAN card(?!?!). Gave me back my keys and sent me home. Now I have to go collect them from the station.
Wanted to know what the maximum fine and/or penalty is for driving uner the influence in Karnataka?
How much do I have to pay in court (if it gets to that?)
I don’t know where Karnataka is (India?), I’m not sure what a PAN card is, either. My suggestion would be to ask someone in Karnataka rather than spending time asking people who may not even know where Karnataka is about DUI laws there.
Or better yet, don’t drive drunk and you won’t have to ask anyone.
