Drink Driving Charges

Can you enter the Australian army with drink driving and a criminal record?
I am a 26 year old male and I am looking at signing for the Australian army as a rifleman. Unfortunately during my years from age 18 to 21 I foolishly drove under the influence of alcohol and was convicted of this on four occasions. Associated with one of the drink driving charges was a criminal charge of obstruction. All my fines have been payed and I have not been charged with anything serious since then other than a couple of traffic infringements and a drinking in public charge.
So the charges are as follows
Year 2001 – DUI
Year 2002 – DUI
Year 2003 – DUI
Year 2004 – DUI & Obstruction
Year 2007 – Drinking in public
Will I still be able to join the army with these? If so what would need to be done?
Further to this will it affect my security clearance or the jobs I am able to do?
I was hoping to sign up and eventually progressing to the commandos.
Sambo, why are you re-posting your question?
