The only way that they can do this is if you refused to take the sobriety test. other than this you need to get the court to writ a letter of your dismissal of the charges of dui and take it to the DMV if this does not work you will need to appeal for a hearing on your driving privilege the hearing examiner will normally side with you as you are innocent of the charges based on the dismissal you can also just have your attorney do this but they will charge you more money
