Texas Dui Law

happened in oklahoma driving without a license and false impersonation…?

Okay so here are here’s the story:

Two of my friends and I were driving from Texas back home to Minnesota. One of my friends was driving and was pulled over going 60 in a 35 in the a small town of Oklahoma. He didn’t have a license since it was taken away two years ago because of a dui charge. He then gave the police officer an id that was not his. He was arrested and put into jail. My question is what is going to happen once he is out. He is from Delaware, so what laws apply to him? Delaware or Oklahoma? and if he has a court date where will it be held.

He will have to go to court in Oklahoma. Giving a false ID is a felony charge, which is huge. If he does not show for his court date, a warrant will be put out for his arrest. The next time he gets pulled over in any state, he could be extradited back to Oklahoma and face even more charges.
